We use American-produced premium alloy steel, and induction harden the crest area of the pin thread and across the box end. This heat treat enhancement of the tool joints delivers extra strength and longevity. Each Drill Rod is checked using hardened gauges, and heat treatment is carefully applied and monitored to provide maximum strength and durability.
